AMREI continuously tracks and analyzes GNSS disturbances, providing real-time insights for operators of critical infrastructure and navigation systems.
AMREI AMREI – Real-Time GNSS Interference Monitoring
The AMREI project is an innovative research initiative aimed at advancing GNSS interference technologies to tackle modern challenges in navigation warfare (NavWar). The project focuses on developing second-generation jamming and spoofing solutions, incorporating key innovations such as the creation of an interference “cloud” to mask signal origins, smart jamming for precise disruptions of targeted services without interfering with co-frequency systems, and advanced sensors for accurate position and velocity detection of target objects.
AMREI also emphasizes multi-frequency jamming and enhanced NavBit prediction to improve response times and operational reliability in hostile scenarios. By addressing critical challenges like self-spoofing prevention, the project ensures the safety and effectiveness of allied operations. AMREI exemplifies Austria’s commitment to pioneering GNSS interference technologies, strengthening national security, and fostering global leadership in this domain, all while maintaining a focus on innovation, sustainability, and technological excellence.
